Kerrod Lowe and Abbie Schulz

Kerrod and Abbie began dancing together at DanceWerx in April 2007. In their first year together as a Juvenile couple Abbie and Kerrod made it to the WA Open finals in all 3 styles.

In 2008, Kerrod and Abbie elevated to the Junior age group where they have enjoyed many successes the latest being at the Australian Dancesport Championships held in Melbourne in December last year. Kerrod and Abbie were the only Western Australian junior couple to make it to more than one national final and finished a respectable 5th in New Vogue, 6th in Standard and 7th in Latin American.

They have big plans for this year with trips to Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne planned! We wish them luck!

David Lyons and Laura Mackie

David and Laura’s partnership commenced in May 2009. Since their inception David and Laura have enjoyed many successes on the local competitive circuit including several major championship wins in Level 4 Latin, Level 3 Standard and New Vogue.

David and Laura are planning on traveling to Canberra and Melbourne this year to compete on the national circuit and we wish them all the very best.

Ben Alessandrini and Britta Statham

Ben and Britta are our freshest couple having begun their partnership in October of last year. Their second competition together was the WA Open Championships where they placed 6th in the Adult Open New Vogue final. Their following competitions have seen them win and place regularly in Level 3 Standard, Latin American and New Vogue. They are a promising couple with a very bright future.

Brock Downing and Madeleine Baxter

Brock and Madeleine had a short but successful stint in the Junior rankings at the end of 2009. They regularly win and place in all 3 styles and we are very excited to see them elevate to the Youth age group in 2010. 2010 will also see Brock and Maddy experience the national dancesport circuit for the first time. We wish them every success for the future!
